Welcome to the World Wide Web.

And welcome to lcd101.com!

After seven years, lcd101.com is finally open! It sure took me long enough.

Here's where I'll be posting new developments on my future projects, interesting things on my blog, and more. Someday, I might even have some games to download on here. I'll be writing about some of my more niche interests on the blog, as well as using it as a "diary" of sorts. And it's not even one you have to sneak into!

Currently, I'm taking deep dives into television broadcasting in the United States and the weird quirks that came with it, as well as obscure old technology. If that sort of thing interests you, you're in the right place!

Please, stay for a while. Don't forget to enjoy yourselves.

Part one of a miniseries covering the digital switchover of the late 2000s and early 2010s. This part is focused on the United States' transition to digital television, from the beginnings of the new technology in the 1980s until the last analog station switched off in 2022! (No, really.)
